Re: My stratification method this year
I've been having trouble with stratification too. This year I used vermiculite in ferrero rocher boxes, I even use EM-1 as I see in a paper. But the black mold was the winner in the end, kill the most of my seeds. I keep doing embryo extraction for don't being frustrated. Onde day I will find my way!

Re: Wedding Bells -- anyone growing/crossing with this one?
Hi Philip, I have Wedding Bells rose, 3 years old, It is a very good rose, almost BS immune, even here in southern Brazil. It makes huge and full blossoms. I can't tell you yet about his inheritance because I used It for the first time this year, as a seed parent crossed with Rosarium Uetersen, who ...

Re: My first cross seedling
It is a white unamed hybrid tea rose that I purchased. I'm not sure It is really Bianca but It matches with a record of a rose importation from Netherlands.
Thank you for your complement

Re: Embryo extracting
Nice tip! I tried baking soda with liquid soap, a teaspoon each one solved in water, I saw this on internet. I used this one time only and They're looking better. I'm avoiding to try so hard, because I shouldn't keep weak seedlings. Thank you.

Thank you Roselynn, I've been having trouble with mold in stratification too. Next time I'll follow a Warren's advice and use vermiculite as medium.

Re: May you help? [Genetics of Rose shape]
Thanks Karl, good informations. When I was searching for Margo Koster ancestry I've noticed this "high sport potential" in that lineage. In this week I did go to a town, to an old hospital, where I found a pretty globular rose at the garden, soft pink, sounds like an old china. I'm attaching a pictu...

Someone has Reine Victoria or Boule de Neige OP seeds?
Hi,

I know, I know.. It's early, but is very exciting to see the embryos becoming green just three days after extracting.
